Rev. Greg L. Bahnsen, Ph.D. (Univ. Southern California) (1948-1995), was an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and a full time Scholar in Residence for the Southern California Center for Christian Studies. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy from USC, B.A. (magna cum laude, philosophy) from Westmont College, and M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. Bahnsen was well known as an apologist and debater. His publications include numerous scholarly articles and book contributions, as well as a number of books, including Theonomy in Christian Ethics; Homosexuality: A Biblical View ; By This Standard: The Authority of God's Law Today; No Other Standard: Theonomy and Its Critics; Van Til's Apologetic; Presuppositional Apologetics: Stated and Defended; Always Ready: Directions for Defending the Faith; and Victory in Jesus: The Bright Hope of Postmillenialism. His recorded courses, lectures, sermons, and talks have been made available for no cost through the generosity of his son, David L. Bahnsen and have been curated by Covenant Media Foundation.
