Jay Wile is the author of the Apologia Science curriculum. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in nuclear chemistry. In 1994 he wrote his first course to assist homeschooling families. From there he continued and has completed a set of science texts for high school children studying at home or school. His humor and ability to express ideas has contributed to his immense popularity as a nationally-known speaker.
