Saved for Maturity (Heb 6:1; 1Co 3:1-3; Col 1:28; Eph. 4:11-13)
“Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,”
(Hebrews 6:1; 1 Corinthians 3:1–3; Colossians 1:28; Ephesians 4:11–13 ESV)
