This talk is from The Theopolis Leviticus Lectures (2015) - Leviticus is one of the keys to the Bible, but is a closed book to many Christians. In these lectures, Peter Leithart shows how Leviticus was both a pedagogy for Israel, preparing her for the final covenant order of Christ, and a parody of the temple systems of the pagan world. At the heart of Leviticus is God’s house of hospitality, a new Eden, where Yahweh welcomes His people into a continuous wedding feast.
Peter Leithart received an A.B. in English and History from Hillsdale College in 1981, and a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 1986 and 1987.
