James Jordan, "Wine, Women, and Song" pt 2
Notes:
God says Wine is His own special drink. He says drink with me, and not with the world. Greek philosophy teaches that men are rational and women are irrational, but this is not how the Bible views women. The Bible sees men as initiator and women as glorifiers.
The creation of woman is the glorification of the world. The woman helps the man be fruitful and multiply. In Genesis 2, we are in a worship environment. The woman is made to talk back to the man. She is a worship partner. We as a corporate bride respond. Paul says taste not, touch not, handle not. Women move things into the future, this is why they have the babies.
Psalm 2 - The second line has some relation to the first line and takes it forward.
JBJ says that Psalm 2 is Psalm 1 backwards.
