This technical study analyzes the use of hyperbaton (syntactical inversion) and bracketing structures in the Epistle to the Hebrews. Focusing on Greek grammar, discourse analysis, and New Testament exegesis, the talk sheds light on how linguistic features contribute to theological emphasis and rhetorical force in Hebrews. A talk from the 2025 Annual Meeting of the ETS Eastern Region. The theme of the meeting was The Wisdom of Scripture for Worship in the Church.
