First line: O Lord, I come to You
Tune name: COMFORT IN DISTRESS
stanzas: 1, 2, 3
Genre: Common practice
Source: files
Composer: Michael E. Owens
Author: Carol Anne Faidley
Singer: Michael E. Owens
Quality: 3
Comments: In this era, early 2003, I didn't believe myself capable of writing profound music,
so I considered it appropriate to practice on non-profound lyrics.
An unskilled hymn tune composer should practice on the works of an unskilled writer—at least I can't ruin anything.
Mrs Faidley at first did not understand metrical feet, so each stanza had a different syllable pattern.
I altered the music of each to match. As a result, this is barely a hymn. (This poem had 9 stanzas, but I gave up after 3.)
