Genre: common practice through-composed
Source: Canticles Divine vol. 2
Composer: Frederick Steinruck PD
Author: King James Version
Singer: Michael E. Owens
Quality: 3
Comments: Yes, I think 'Selah' means 'pause and consider', so here we obey that with a literal pause. And yes, the Hebrew word 'ragaz' used to mean 'leasing'; now it means 'falsehood.' I don't care what 'leasing' meant 400 years ago; today it means 'renting' and I'm not going to sing that it's vanity to seek after leasing.
