Advent 2010 Part II: The Necessity of Extra-Biblical Feasting

Date: 12/5/2010
Type: Sunday Sermon
Price: FREE

Today we continue our discussion of extra-biblical feasting by speaking of its necessity. While not advocating the necessity of celebrating specific days, which would undermine the point in last week's sermon, we are advocating necessity of celebrating in general. If we understand the Gospel then we won’t be able to help celebrating at some point – in some way; if we have grasped what Christ has done for us, then we cannot help but feast; in particular, if we understand what happened in the Incarnation then we won’t be able to help holding a festival at some point in some way. So why not now?
