Ben and his wife, Stephanie, have four children: Nicholas, TaraJane, Nathaniel, and Lousia Caroline. Ben received a B.A. degree in history from the University of Arkansas at the little Rock and a M.Ed. degree from East Texas State University in Texarkana. He is the headmaster of Veritas Academy in Texarkana, Arkansas where he teaches history and literature.
