-Evangelical Theological Society Eastern Region

We are a professional society of Biblical scholars, teachers, pastors and others involved in the evangelical scholarship serving Christ and His Church. We are, first of all, Evangelical -- that is we subscribe to the Good News of Salvation as a free gift of God through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross. We are Theological and are committed to the doctrinal basis that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. You can see our complete doctrinal statement in the first link on the Contents called Doctrinal Basis.
