Developing True Taste - Eccles. 6:1-7:12
All of us as children had to develop a taste for some vegetable that we at first found unpleasant. The skill of refining your tastes is one important step in learning wisdom. You must learn to choose the better or best rather than the merely pleasant. In this life under the sun, that means choosing to take the road of suffering, taking up your cross and following Christ. Wisdom is found in the house of mourning. Better is the rebuke of a wise friend than the song of fools.
