Prayer is speaking to God to conform our wills to His and to plead for our needs to be met by Him. In Jn. 15:7, we see that abiding in Christ is the foundation of a prayerful life. Prayer is the repose of the heart for one who is in Christ. Prayer is a primary means for realizing that we remain in a state of grace by Christ.
