About the the author: Gregg Strawbridge (Ph.D. in education and philosophy) wrote the original draft of this booklet in 1997 for a school transitioning to the classical model. Having sold over 50,000 copies (and now thousands more), it has perhaps the widest publication of any one book or booklet in the classical Christian education movement. Dr. Strawbridge has served on the boards of three Christian schools, the last being Veritas Academy (Lancaster, PA) - for over a decade. His wife is the first grade teacher at Veritas Academy (since 2003) and his three daughters are graduates.
