Our Lord has rescued us from the penalty of our sins. That is a glory to be celebrated for all eternity. And yet there is another fact no less glorious that, in our day, seems to have been obscured. The work of our Lord Jesus has not only delivered from the guilt of our sins but from their power. As Christ endured temptation and resisted the devil so you and I are called to fight the good fight in the Spirit and by the Word of God.
